The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (the Commission) was established in May 2000 under The Gambling (Alderney) Law, 1999.The Commission regulates eGambling on behalf of the States of Alderney and consists of the Chairman and three members, is independent and non political. The Commission ensures that its regulatory and supervisory approach meets the very highest of international standards.
The Commission is engaged in regular dialogue with other regulatory bodies at an international level. It is a member of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF), and the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR). The Commission also works closely with other law enforcement agencies, particularly in the regulation of gambling and the prevention of financial crime.
The Commission is dedicated to establish and sustain a fair and honest eGambling industry, free from criminal influence and exploitation.
